maybe we can start posting random barbra streissend pictures to the point of having about 100 pages of those, until they realize we are really angry about this issue and get the animated GIFs to working again.

I suggest that (I mean this issue will not be solved in the near future...) there should at least be a warning in that avatar-upload-function-thing.
People who just want to change to a new one (and are not frequently reading this board) are definitely not aware that it will not be working (- and that they can't change back either...)
