Radio playing instrumental instead of original

Happens to several songs by Elvis Presley.

    Example: http://www.last.fm/music/Elvis+Presley/_/If+I+Can+Dream

  • We've just taken down several albums featuring Elvis covers, so this should be a lot better.

(?Why can't the karaoke versions have their own pages?)

    Another terrible karaoke version

  • I've cleaned these up, however I was unable to find a karoke version of Bowie. I've removed the live version though.

Ideally when we are delivered recordings and they are ingested, the metadata on the files we receive would put these recordings in the right place. However, the metadata on these karoke/live/pan pipe releases is usally the same as the original, meaning they will be ingested that way.

    Thanks.

S'pose you couldn't jus ban the uploader!?
Or, once the correct version is loaded, locking it from anything else being added?

I still can't quite picture the reasoning for there being several streams for one title.
    Is it explained anywhere?
