    Spotify Scrobbles Corrections

Spotify's got a lot of mistagged tracks and there's not much to do about it (they don't seem to be interested and you can't change them manually) maybe Last.fm could do something to automatically correct all content after dash in titles.

Could all "- Remastered", "- Original Mix", "- Someone's Remix" be automatically corrected to "(Remastered)", "(Original Mix)", "(Someone's Remix)" without the need to use corrections queue?

  • Could the "curly" apostrophy also be automatically corrected to a "straight" apostrophy.

An example of a "curly" apostrophy (from Spotify) is this track:
    http://www.last.fm/music/The+Decemberists/_/Don%E2%80%99t+Carry+It+All

It would be much appreciated if it could be corrected to the "straight" apostrophy version:
    http://www.last.fm/music/The+Decemberists/_/Don%27t+Carry+It+All

Auto correction would be good because it seems impossible to use "Suggest a correction" in this case.

    Thanks!

Equally if you leave auto-correct on, last fm sometimes messes up perfectly accurate artists/song titles from spotify. One example is Elvis Costello and the Imposters, which is tagged correctly in Spotify and with auto-correct turned on last fm tags it as The Imposters- completely missing out Elvis Costello!!
