    Not Titles in Feed?

    On my blog, parsing the rdf script with a free javascript tool at blogharbor.com, produces a feed with no titles... weird?

    Did something wrong?

    Looked at the file, and found title fine.

    Blogharbor, you think?

    Re: Group Feeds

    Quoth Coded:
    A group rss feed that I could use to post the top "x" number of songs from a group on my site would rock.

    I run a music community site and a few readers and I have started a group here. I'd be willing to write a plugin for the CMS I use (e107 - similar to *Nuke) that other sites could use as well.

    Integration of group stats into various CMS's would kick mucho a$$.

    Just to say: me too!!!

    I also have a music community site and would love to post a chart with my readers greatest hits. A RSS/RDF feed would make it a lot easier. Now that there are already group charts, it would be easy to create the feeds. I would contribute a Zope/python CMS plugin for it. I'd also invite all my readers to join audioscrobber.

    Sony Sonic Stage

    It would be nice to have a Sony Sonic Stage 2.x plugin.

  • tags for firefox feeds

    It would be nice if AS user pages had a tag in the head HTML of their pages to allow Mozilla Firefox users to take advantage of the livebookmarks. It is difficult to add an RSS feed to your bookmarks for a page that doesn't have a convenient little livebookmark tag. A livebookmark tag would look just like this:

    <link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Audioscrobbler Musical Profile: user" href="http://ws.audioscrobbler.com/rss/recent.php?user=user" />

  • Not sure if it's been mentioned here yet, but I'd like to see XML feeds of the forums, especially the news forum.

    Explain your question better. Are you trying to submit track data? Do you have a plugin?

    I'd really like to see this. Is it enroute, or have you all not started on it yet?

  • feed validation?

    I can't get the RDF feeds to parse with rdflib (a python RDF library), and feedvalidator.org says there are several problems with it. Is there any chance these might be fixed?

    i dont know anything about the technical implications of these suggestions, but i would really like a rdf feed for top artists and tracks, and a sort of "last played" feature, where it'll tell you the last track played even after it's not considered "recently played"

  • I couldn't find anything on this so here goes

    Changing the time reported in the RDF to your local time (based on the setting in your profile). Not sure if someone suggested this or not.

    Does this mean that we can expect to see the RDF as part of the new site that was mentioned on the front page?

    RDF/RSS feed for Recommendations

    If you do a feed for top artists, you should offer one for the recommendations, too. I'd really enjoy having an RDF/RSS feed, so when a new suggestion arrives it will pop up in my newsreader.

  • Most of the data available on your profile page as some sort of feed would be great.

  • Add some info to the feed.

    For each song, I'd like to see
    <item rdf:about="http://mm.musicbrainz.org/track/MBIDHERE">;
    <link>http://www.audioscrobbler.com/music/Rilo+Kiley/_/Pictures+of+Success</link>;

    <uclient>AudioScrobbler for WMP v1.1.8 (Build 613)</uclient>
    <uplayer>Windows Media Player 10.0.0.3646</uplayer>
    <uopsys>Windows XP (Professional), (Multiprocessor Free) v5.1 Build:2600 Service</uopsys>

    <dc:date>2005-08-05T14:38:19+00:00</dc:date>
    <dc:title>Pictures of Success</dc:title>
    <mm:Artist rdf:about="http://mm.musicbrainz.org/artist/eaf6a7ca-105d-4a94-ba02-8c3e4040319a">;
    <dc:creator>
    <dc:title>Rilo Kiley</dc:title>
    </dc:creator>
    </mm:Artist>
    <mm:albumlist>
    <mm:Album rdf:about="http://mm.musicbrainz.org/album/MBIDHERE">;
    <dc:title>Buffy: The Ultimate Soundtrack (disc 1)</dc:title>
    </mm:Album>
    </mm:albumlist>
    </item>

    This would allow someone to have one account that was running multiple sumissions to a single account and still filter the feed by client making submissions. You could even add something to the API to let sech client have a unique id that would even further allow for multiple streams.

  • Lines like

    <link>http://www.last.fm/musicpages/track/index.php?id=24601&mode=</link>;

    break the XML.

    I think one of these is created if there is an ampersand in the song title, perhaps among other situations.
