MTD4 and Blade Promotions after consultation with the venues and major stakeholders including the International Artists, have decided that it is in the best interest of all parties concerned to postpone the event to Sept/Oct this year.

The new dates will be advised as soon as possible.

We anticipate announcing additional headline bands to join those previously listed as the postponement allows us to restore the event to our original concept including multiple stages, all ages ticketing and camping at all sites.

We apologise if this postponement causes any inconvenience to those that have already purchased tickets to our event and encourage them to contact us directly - contact@rockoutfestivals.com.au

Thank You

By brought it forward I mean forward to the future. The date on this page used to be in April.

Noone brought it forward & when they postponed it, they said late Sept early Oct, so I really don't see what you're getting at...

I dunno why you guys bother bringing a postponed event forward before there's been any more announcements. Sept/Oct is getting kinda close, so they better announce it soon or not at all!

Earth, Sakkuth and Crossbreed (presuming its the american industrial metal Crossbreed lol) should be a pretty ace event

Doubtful, as far as I’m aware it’s not the US old school doom Earth, it’s the melodic death metal outfit from Melbourne, who are actually pretty cool.

Yay, delayed till when I can come to Australia. I need to check out Earth's material. Haven't heard much Diamond Head and Girlschool but I'd want to see them due to their historical contributions

Now they can actually promoter it & organise it properly, that's not to say they will, but I fucking hope they do this properly, Australia needs a good metal festival, Metal For The Brain is gone, Metalstock may as well be gone, it's like a bad smell lingering in the air these days...

Its good news for me because I wont miss out on Krisiun anymore, but also because now they can only make it better. I want them to get Venom here. They've never been to Australia because they only play big shows/festivals, so this'd be the perfect opportunity.

Was always going to happen, they need more bands to attract people to this thing, not to mention some actual planning & dare I say promotion...

I'm thinking about coming across for this. Pretty crazy that 3-day festivals have been announced at such short notice, but hopefully the organizers can pull it off without half of the bands cancelling.

Put up the festivals website www.rockoutfestivals.com.au I hope this happens, but it sounds as though it wont. I've wanted to see Girlschool, Diamond Head and Twisted Sister for years, especially Girlschool.
