Sloow Tapes is sinds 2005 europa’s meest consistente tapelabel. De focus ligt op geestverruimende raga’s, kosmische dronejams en tegendraadse acid folk. De abstracte viltstiftpsychedelica die labelbaas Bart ‘sloow’ De paepe op het merendeel van de hoezen smeert, zorgt ervoor dat muziek en artwork tot een bedwelmend rookgordijn van oneindige reflecties versmelten. Het label herbergt een allegaartje van contemporaine experimentalisten van Brussel tot Tokyo, met cassettes van artiesten als Suishou No Fune, julie Mittens, Voice of The Sevens Woods en gHQ. Sloow Tapes bouwde in enkele jaren een heuse streetcredibility op in de internationale underground. Het artwork van De Paepe vond vooral in de VS een cult aanhang met tentoonstellingen in New york en Pittsburgh tot gevolg.

Voor dit letterlijk ‘trage’ festival, dat reeds om 16:00 begint, selecteerde Sloow enkele aan het label gelieerde artiesten en films.
