hamishdonnelly We may have 100% compatibility but that's not going to stop me from calling you an absolute fucktard for not knowing it's buttscratcher. It should be forbidden for anyone not to know the origin of 'buttscratcher' to say it - either in person or on the internet.

samsaunders There are 29 separate reviews of bands and artists at Leeds on the Leeds Music Scene website listed on a page over here. The ones I wrote about (13?) are all about bands from Leeds itself. One day I will revisit Vancouver - the city where I first fell in love with rock and roll radio. Many years ago.

debaser18 was a a really great weekend for me, the suprise appearance from them crooked vultures was immense, I couldn't believe some of us were lucky enough to see those three together on stage,.There are an incredibly large ammount of dickheads that go to Leeds fest, but ah well the two do seem to go hand in hand nowadays.
September 2009 -
TheRacingRat no longer in the events section on my page, this upsets me

ManicLoop yeah Krupt, I've not heard it before, but heard it coming from Relentless tent in build up days (i was there from Weds) and it was just so annoying
September 2009 -
Krupt0 ManicLoop, glad I'm not the only one who thought this, I was in the dance tent for the majority of Saturday (which was my favourite day) and all day all I heard was these fucking chavvy n00bs chanting "you wot, you wot" it's mega annoying!
September 2009 -
kireinakoneko sikkkkkkkk
September 2009 -
ManicLoop crooked vultures and living end were highlights. but good mentions to friendly fires and faith no more. number of new bands in my download collection now which is good, last couple of years i didn't really "discover" any new gems but this years I have oh and fuck off everyone with the "you wot, you wot" shit. so annoying and fucking ruined prodigy, chavvy dicks
September 2009 -
rubbersoul_80 apparently radiohead played all the hits at reading
September 2009 -
Krupt0 The Living End were really great, I admit that I had not heard of them prior to the festival but I checked them out with a friend and was mightily impressed. I also really enjoyed seeing Spinerette. It's so hard to get to that silent disco, queues were massive :( Ian Brown was really great too, so glad he played Fools Gold.
September 2009 -
TheRacingRat poo girl is called charlotte taylor for those who are interested
September 2009 -
Xinas Radiohead. That is all.
September 2009 -
durkules Yeah, the Doug Stanhope set was hilarious, was impressed that he turned it round to get a good reception at the end after the way it started haha As for bands, the best of each day for me were Them Crooked Vultures, Gallows and Anti-flag
September 2009 -
SovietJoe Them Crooked Vultures were fucking amazing, highlight of the weekend, and I almost pissed myself laughing at Doug Stanhope getting the crowd to hate him after 2 minutes. Really enjoyed The Living End (Surprised), Eagles Of Death Metal (Un-surprised) and Alexisonfire (Ashamed) too.
September 2009 -
spliffy88 did anyone see brendon burns? absolutely quality
September 2009 -
DaveBrilley Tim Minchin, Set Your Goals, Billy Talent, Jamie T, The Maccabees, White Lies and Bloc Party were particular highlights for me. And the pits for Shikari were fantastic. Shame they didn't play Ok Time For Pan B

Icedevi1 Some guys jizzed in their pants when they saw my 65daysofstatic shirt. That silent disco guy from Holland was a bit of a legend as well.
August 2009 -
samsaunders What a great weekend. Pulled Apart By Horses second set of the weekend, on the Alternative Stage in the Transgressive set on Sunday night was magnificent.
August 2009 -
brownb9 kings of leon and artic monkeys suck thom yorkes jizz sack.............and even a poor radiohead gig would piss on that shite..............
August 2009 -
Ordinary-Monkey Where's your head at poo girl?
August 2009 -
Xbulela Radiohead weren't the best act at Leeds. It was either Kings of Leon or Arctic Monkeys.
August 2009 -
Krupt0 I missed Them Crooked Vultures. Tent broke and had to sort it out, fucking gutted about it :(
August 2009 -
rubbersoul_80 I agree about ian brown, he was absolutely shite
August 2009 -
dugggy Radiohead were SO FUCKING GOOD
August 2009 -
Cosmonaut_ 65daysofstatic did Sheffield proud by owning the FR stage.
August 2009 -
spliffy88 oh yeah and worst part of the weekend, ian brown's set, which i fell asleep during
August 2009 -
spliffy88 it's cos they're sponsored by topman now. bouncing souls were my favorite of the weekend. really enjoyed yeah yeah yeahs, them crooked vultures, eagles of death metal, spinnerette and alexisonfire too!
August 2009 -
rubbersoul_80 Fucking ace weekend.. Best part: them crooked vultures Worst part: seeing kings of leons new fanbase being nothing like the crowds they had 5 years ago. Mollys chamber came on and everyone just stood there. What the fuck? people used to go mental and leon shows. Its cliche i know but its sad how polished the band have become. I miss them as a band and the atmosphere at their shows being raw and edgy.
August 2009 -
thompsonbassman hahahahahhaha poo girl. i dont think arctics were a let down, what was a let down was me missing them crooked vultures!! argh!!!!
August 2009 -
Marmite_Sarnies Artic Monkeys were such a let down, sorta made me feel bad for coming from sheffield, The couple of songs i heard BMTH do didnt make Sheffield seem any better either :L
August 2009 -
fullspeed_ahead kings of leon, radiohead, dananananaykroyd, fall out boy, the horrors, the prodigy, placebo. <3
