Let me start out by saying this event would have been a lot better without the horrible sound crew, and overzealous (and racist) security team. Both Tantric and Days of the New took over half an hour to get the instruments set up. You have two stages right next to each other. Make use of this.
I arrived in time to see Cinder Road playing. I did not expect much from them (Due to their shoddy performance at last years event), but I was pleasantly surprised. They had a solid set that got the crowd worked up, and even did a great cover of Billy Joel's White Wedding (Which i'm pretty sure they did last year as well).
Another Black Day came up next, who I think stole the show. Their singer, and guitarists were incredibly energetic, and amazing at what they did. Not often you come across a hardcore band who can play, and sing well. Its either one or the other. Haven't heard any of their songs besides the radio hit Wicked Soul before today…
