xxErnestoxx Six Organs, US Christmas, Dragontears, Farflung and Outskirts of Infinity's second gig were some of the great moments of this years festival. Skullflower blew the last of what was left of my mind.

zn Rose Kemp, Omega Massif, Negura Bunget, Baroness, Earth, Zu and Church of Misery. It was nice to wake up from the other side when Tribes of Neurot hit the noisegear on.

frankiefigs666 Neurosis was killer & Tribes Of Neurot were better then I expected great way to close off the festival. My other favorites were Mono, Winchester Club, Rose Kemp, Cathedral, Omega Massif, Negura Bunget, Radio Moscow, Baroness & Wolves In The Throne Room.

Sievers Amazing festival! :D My biggest moments were: Minsk (oh how i love thee!!), US Christmas, Amenra, Church of Misery, Omega Massif, Dragontears and Nadja!

Kelvindv Didn't like Vitus that much indeed, same goes for Cathedral & Amon Düül II. Good thing about Roadburn is you can just walk away and go into another room, where there will probably be another great show.

did shora perform with a whole different line-up than on malval? i saw them in w2, den bosch a couple of years ago and that was really stunning. had a chat afterwards, and i remember them being with less musicians and a different drummer. the roadburn gig was a bit disappointing. they shouldn't have messed with their own material.

stonerrocks Loved it, and nobody has mentioned Om yet who were excellent I thought - as well as The Atomic Bitchwax. Basically you don't get bad bands at Roadburn :) St Vitus were a tad disappointing though, anyone agree?

zwerfafval One of the greatest festivals... thanks to everyone involved! @parnuder: Burial Hex only played for about 45 minutes (unless he started too early). I caught the last few minutes of his set. @dpdd: White Hills played for 90 minutes, like in the time schedule. They were fucking awesome.

as for neurosis: a sun that never sets / given to the rising / distill / water is not enough / hidden faces / stones from the sky / fear & sickness / to the wind / times of grace / through silver in blood. i think i'm missing one or two now...

Great performances: Zu, US Christmas, White Hills, Grey Daturas, Minsk, Seven That Spells, Six Organs and Earth which I all saw for the first time. Of the bands I saw for a second time I thought that Baroness, Mono and Bohren had quality sets. Also noticed that brass instruments (and than namely the sax) are becoming more frequent. Digging that.
