Awww it sounds like everyone had a good day/evening - we didn't go in the end, partly due to lack of funds to get back home but also because the bands that we really wanted to see kept being dropped/pulling out etc. Sad times :(

Well i saw gareth and aleksandra running to the night and day and jump the queue to see the last 20 minutes of mum, so thats probably why they cut two songs. cheeky beggars.

Jefferey Lewis was the biggest surprise to me, he reminded me a little bit of Kimya Dawson and the song with the comic book was great. Los Campesinos win though...just wish Olafur didn't clach with Nastasia!

accelerated ewould've been lovely, but i had to run and get the bus, so the bitter bitter man inside of me is glad they didn't play it.

according to the set list, it was meant to be: http://flickr.com/photos/collinson/2728058376/ i didn't write accelerated readers on there myself.

Really? They started ten minutes late and finished ten minutes late. I thought it was a full set. Saying that i didn't see the set list. The Mae Shi were the biggest shock of the day, i had never heard of them so intended to watch two songs then go catch bearsuit. But fuck me were they entertaining.

Great day out. Only downer was that LC! intended to play my two favourites We Are All Accelerated Readers and ...And We Exhale And Roll Our Eyes in Unison, but their set got cut short.

Really enjoyed this, JoFo and the Mae Shi were an unbelievable one-two and Jeffrey Lewis and Los Campesinos! were great later on. I'm not sure I've ever experienced anything quite as hot as Night & Day.

well found out about the surburban kids, bit pissed off since four bands who i would have liked to have seen have dropped out and the venue has been changed since i bought the tickets. Hopefully Campesinos! will make up for it. http://www.skwbn2008.blogspot.com/ - News on Suburban Kids, the management fucked them about and only booked two plane tickets as opposed to five. gg

where did you hear about elf power and suburban kids, that sucks listened to a little suburban kids and they sound really good. Ah well. Looks like a sparse lineup, maybe they will move everyone to moho.
