findet die Loveparade in Dortmund auf der
B 1 an den Westfalenhallen unter dem Motto
„Highway to Love“ statt.

Damit werden wir gemeinsam mit Euch für ein absolutes Novum in Deutschland sorgen. Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte wird der „Metropolen-Highway“, der mit weit über 100.000 Autos täglich zu den meist befahrenen Strecken Deutschlands gehört, für eine Veranstaltung gesperrt. Das ist auch eine Premiere für die Loveparade, die erstmals in einer solch ungewöhnlichen Umgebung stattfindet. Damit legen wir die Hauptverkehrsader Deutschlands von West nach Ost und die Hauptschlagader der Metropole Ruhr für einen Tag lahm und verwandeln die B 1 in unseren “Highway To Love“. Die Strecke mündet dann an den Dortmunder Westfalenhallen, auf deren Gelände die Abschlusskundgebung stattfinden wird: länger, lauter und mehr live!

    hammer, genial, einfach nur wieder geil hoffe mal in Bochum wird sich ein lauschiges plätzchen für die Loveparade 2009 finden. bis zum nächsten jahr :-)

    Too many people, not enough space, not enough facilities, not enough transport to get the hell out of there. Best part of the whole day was when we wandered out of the packed crowds and mess and found a nice restaurant in a park and enjoyed some nice weizen sat down in comfortable seats outside in the brief bit of sunshine. Once we started heading back in to the party after the rain stopped for good we were hoping that some of the morons would have gone but alas most of them were still there and were just twice as drunk as before. Managed to get a taxi by walking out of the centre past the train station which we took all the way back to dusseldorf because the trains were a no go but it was almost like a damn zombie film when we were leaving people were so desperate to get out of the town, they were offering hundreds of euros to get the taxi driver to take them instead. Doubt I'd go again unless I could get on one of the floats themselves! :(
