The University of Nottingham Gilbert and Sullivan Society Presents The Mikado
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 7:30pm to
Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2.30, 7:30pm
Location: Nottingham Arts Theatre
Street: George Street
City/Town: Nottingham
The Mikado is the undisputed ruler of all Japan! And he demants obediance! When this means for the citizens, that one man has to hold almost every office in government simultaneously, another has to marry a contractually suicidal minstrel, couple this with the awkwardness of having to cut off your own head, its no surprise that the townspeople feel they should make a bit of a song and dance about it. We proudly present the Mikado, a tale of love, death and amusing misunderstandings in early 20th century Japan
A musical extravaganza, with Dancing singing and a general fantastic night out! A show for all ages and all walks! Bring your friends, and invite them to this event!
7.30 Nightly
2.30 Saturday Matinee
£8 (£5 Concessions, yes that is students too!)
Box office 01159 476096
