KyoteeSun, I'm English myself - and the reason I do these events in the USA rather than in Europe is sadly because experience has shown there simply isn't the support over here. Believe me, I've tried.

Pretty good so far! But now it's raining, which is going to be annoying for the outdoor stage acts.

Ah, sorry to read about the Marissa Nadler cancellation. She was one of my Terrastock 6 hightlights, so, I was very much looking forward to seeing her again.

  • ptolemyphil

Let's get this straight - Marissa Nadler hasn't cancelled. Her record company decided to pull her out. According to Keith from Kemado Records, Marissa Nadler "will need to cancel her upcoming gig at Terrastock due to unforeseen complications with the recording of her new album. We are all extremely sorry that this has to happen (particularly so last minute), but I'm sure you understand that the completion of her new album is a huge priority." Well, no, actually Keith - I'm rather old fashioned I suppose, and was brought up to believe a prior commitment is a priority commitment, especially when it's a commitment to the fans. But, what the hell. Please direct your complaints not to us, but to <keith@kemado.com>.

I can imagine the massive details in orchestrating a fest. of this caliber. I understand that selecting a city at random, and constituting a let's play there mentality is simply not feasable, nor is it,cost-efective. Howver, one can hope for their metropolis to be apart of the Terrastock happening! Cheers.

Coincidentally, I was talking only last night to Jack Rose about the idea of bringing Terrastock to Philadelphia sometime. I know the Bardo Pond boys are into it as well. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as picking a city and saying let's take Terrastock there! - it's not like it's a travelling circus, we have to find a suitable venue and a team on the ground who are willing to put the effort int

Original lineup was Cosmic Inferno, but now the site just says Acid Mothers Temple. Helena Espvall and Masaki Batoh added! They'll also be playing with Damon & Naomi. All we need now is Kurihara and Ghost to fit into the lineup somehow and it would be perfect.
