Carry The Weight Records Fest III, 2012.
To celebrate our third year as a label we are once again doing our annual fest. its been an awesome year so thank you to everyone that has supported us in anyway! In south coast tradition this years show will once again be held in Margate and shall feature our friends:
*Potentially more bands to be added*
South Coast Straight Edge. Just dropped pre orders for their new record LIFE SENTENCE. If you don't know now im not sure where you have been. SRH.
BROKEN TEETH UK
Manchester Hardcore for fans of Bulldoze. One of the most hard working bands in the UK. Purgatory Records!
The London Straight Edge. 90's hardcore with a political nerve in the vein of Birthright/Chokehold/Trial.
NEW MORALITY (nl)
Dutch touring machines playing one exlcusive UK show for us in support of their new LP on CTW. Merauder meets Burn.
Late era Cro-Mags mixd with early Metallica via Sweden. Their 7" we released this year was one of our favourites. Exlcusive UK show!
Norse mythology and metallic hardcore FFO: Integ, In Cold Blood and so forth. Hardly play these days so catch them while you can.
Sounds like a mix between early No Warning and Right Brigade with added spite. Long awaited new record available at this show.
THE HARD WAY
SRH dudes playing hardcore in the vein of Outburst and Breakdown. Back from the dead! First show in a long while.
You all heard the demo that A389 picked up. Absolutely Crushing Clevo worship via Margate. First show!
Ex- On Thin Ice in a new band that plays NYHC with a metallic edge. Demo imminant. You're moshing.
Straight Edge Hardcore Punk they way it should be played. Straight outta Liverpool XXX
@The Westcoast Bar
Perfect for stage dives, we don't want no stage potatoes. This is a 300 cap venue so there will be limited tickets available. Once they are gone they are gone.
Tickets available here: www.ctwrecords.bigcartel.com
Please respect the venue. Any dickheads will be thrown out. In addition, please do not bring your own drinks to the show/inside the venue as they have a licensed bar.
As the show is on a Sunday the show is planned to finish at 21.45 at the latest so people can get their last trains (21.53 to London). There is also plenty of parking in this area of town for those driving.
If you want to bring a distro etc this is cool. Please email us first those so we can make sure there is room for you: email@example.com . Any general questions can be sent here also.
A lot of bands we wanted to have play couldn't fit on the bill so there will likely be a pre show the day before somewhere in Margate. Updates on that soon
