While it’s cold in the rest of Europe, experience some of the most formidable avant-garde musicians in the world and stay in a gorgeous Design Hotel located on a cliff in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. This intimate festival on the mountainous volcanic island features a stunning and unsurpassable line-up, a landscape to match and attractive spring temperatures.

The MADEIRADIG Festival is a unique Adventure in extra-ordinary Music. Each December the Portuguese island – celebrated as the ‘paradise island’ and ‘floating garden’ – is transformed into a hotbed of digital and art culture. This is an avantgarde Trip through the world of serious music.

Already confirmed for this years line-up are: Biosphere (NO), Oren Ambarchi (AU), Jana Winderen (UK), Sculpture (Dan Hayhurst & Reuben Sutherland ) (UK), Palmer Eldricht (PT) + p.ma. (PT), ZNGR Electroacoustic Ensemble (PT) + eRikm (FR)

Just two days after, we are happy to announce our new, first time happening fantastic Film Festival. The three-day Madeira Micro international Film Festival (MMiFF) takes place from 6-8.12 2012. The fantastic, fictional and surreal films will be shown in an Art Deco cinema that is nearly 100 years old and has a view of the Atlantic.
