We are currently gathering information about Friday night’s events. We are also working to ensure that everyone will be refunded for their tickets. Please bear with us while we do this.

Thanks to all of you, as well as the many artists and crew who travelled across the world to come to Bloc - we are so sorry that we couldn’t deliver the experience we had planned.

And thanks so much to the event control, security, stewards, police and public who worked together to ensure that no one came to harm during the peaceful evacuation. This is far and away the most important result of the night.

For those of you who are frustrated and angry - we hear you. For those sending love and support - thank you.

More news soon.

I paid with my Barclay's Visa and phoned them to request a 'cashback'. Basically thats when you pay for something you havent received. Took about a week but i got my money back in full

If anyone paid for tickets through Paypal within the last 45 days, get on to them about a claim. They said if Baselogic don't respond to the claim within the next 11days (unlikely now they are in admin) then they will refund the money.

Agreed that Friday was a total shambles but I assume that the local authority must have issued a licence/permit for this event. You would think that the venue and/or promoter would have to give detailed info regarding the number of tickets and the capacity of each stage for the permit to be granted?

Gutted to have missed Saturday's lineup but not gutted that I missed out on the fiasco of Friday night. Sounds like the venue were at least partly to blame. If bloc do go under someone should step into the breach; the world needs more electronica loveliness.

Chances are they will declare themselves bankrupt so they don't have to give everyone a refund. My weekend was saved by the fallout parties around town. I still managed to see Flying Lotus, and it was awesome to see him with The Weeknd in XOYO. Fuck you bloc, we can have a good time without you

i did not go too, and now i am glad i did not. It will happen next time if they remove commercial factor from the event. See you around

If they stay afloat, I can see them trying to restore their reputation by doing club nights. Will be a couple of years, if ever, for another weekend. The more I think about it, the problems lay more with the venue than the promoters - will be interesting to see what comes out after an investigation.

A real shame to hear about what happened, I am glad I decided not to go. If Bloc doesn't go under, maybe we'll see a back-to-basics at somewhere like Minehead again?
