A Rocket Ride to Grunn City is een gratis festival dat georganiseerd wordt door Stichting muziek over Groningen (SMOG). Het festival is een gratis alternatief voor het populaire en bekende Eurosonic/Noorderslag.
A Rocket Ride to Grunn City vindt plaats van 11 tot en met 14 januari 2012 op verschillende locaties in Groningen stad. Tijdens het festival zal een divers scala aan bands aangeboden worden die de kans krijgen een toffe show neer te zetten.
- Dit jaar met labelnachten van onder anderen MWM-recordings (top dubstep label van Nederland), Alles los! (Eins, zwei orchestra, BlackboxRed, Dancing Dollekamp) en Boombax (Mr Wallace, The Dublicators, Offshore)
