Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown & Picnic

Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown and Arkansas Picnic will take place July 3, 2011 at the new outdoor amphitheater in Northwest Arkansas. Located three miles off Highway 412, west of Springdale, Arkansas, the new concert facility will present an extended lineup of Country Throwdown artists in an all-day concert event that combines Willie’s Picnic annual event to bring in additional country music artists. Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown and Picnic is the first event announced at the new amphitheater.

The only tour of its kind in the world of country, Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown Tour continues its tradition of spotlighting top country music artists and emerging singer-songwriters.

Headliners include Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Jack Ingram.

COUNTRY THROWDOWN + WILLIE’S PICNIC COMBINE FOR JULY 3:

A special enhanced presentation of the Country Throwdown tour, combined with Willie Nelson’s Picnic annual event, will take place July 3 at Osage Creek Amphitheater. Starting earlier in the day and featuring even more artists than other tour stops on the national Country Throwdown tour, the Throwdown at Osage Creek Amphitheater will team up with Willie’s Picnic for an even bigger day of music. All Throwdown artists will be playing alongside Willie and his Friends. Doors will open early, so concert goers will have a full day of music and activities.
