The purpose of the DC Music Fest is to showcase some of the best artists and bands of the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. The inaugural event will not only focus on one style of music, but music as a whole, showcasing multiple genres of talent. One of a kind and never done before, this festival seeks to start a wave of support and awareness for the local music scene.
Focusing on talent and not just popularity, the DC Music Festival will expose thousands of people to the local music scene, all with one day of entertainment.
The festival will take place on May 7, 2011 and will feature 12 of the best DC area bands on 2 stages, along with 3 Singer/Songwriters and 1 DJ.
