Cool Summer Festival 2011

Well the snow has nearly melted and the grass will soon be perfectly springy to carefully plunk an Esky on (yes it is still BYO although no glass please - wine being the only exception). This year we have a fine mix of genres for those with an open mind or friends to influence. This fine mix will culminate with Australia’s highest singalong to none other than the iconic John Williamson in his natural habitat.

As per usual we think the best way to have a party is for everyone to know everyone else by getting you to invite your friends and getting them to do the same. That way we can not only keep the company good, but the ticket prices down because we don’t have to donate money to the evil empire and advertise in between some reality TV show and ridiculously shaped exercise equipment. You know how it is.

Speaking of kids (which we weren’t), they are free 16 and under with a responsibly equipped ticket holder. The lifts will also be running again and there is a perfect long range forecast for kite flying, frisbee throwing, and cardboard box sliding!

On top of all this we have a fine selection of workshops, the first of those being a session with one of the finest Drummers around Mr Nicky Bomba (John Butler Trio, Bomba). Spaces for this are only available to ticket holders and other people they know who also have tickets.

There will also be a fine selection of boutiquish wine, beers, coffee, and nosh. If that isn’t enough there is always the stunning Alpine summer setting for walks and relaxing.

Early Bird tickets will be available to you people in the know and anyone you let know prior to Christmas. After that, who knows? They may have sold out as there are only 1200 early birds available.

So get onboard with the highest Independent Festival in Australia and spread the love. Cool Summer Festival - The way festivals used to be!
