GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR TO HEADLINE
ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES FIRST JAPANESE EVENT
“I’LL BE YOUR MIRROR” - TICKETS ON SALE 20th NOVEMBER

On Sunday 27th February 2011, renowned concert promoters All Tomorrow’s Parties will collaborate with Japan’s Creativeman to present their first Japanese event. Named after the b-side to The Velvet Underground’s original All Tomorrow’s Parties 7” single, the one day I’ll Be Your Mirror event will take place at Studio Coast, Tokyo, Japan.

Acting as sister events to the world famous ATP Festivals which usually take place in holiday resorts, I’ll Be Your Mirror will be a new series of artist curated music events taking place in cities worldwide. For this first event ATP will curate with a stunning line-up of artists headlined by GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR. The intimate event will feature music, DJs, and art from James Jarvis of Amos Toys.

We can now confirm the line-up for this highly anticipated event:

GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR

BOREDOMS

DIRTY THREE

FUCK BUTTONS

BORIS

ENVY

AUTOLUX

MELT BANANA

KEIJI HAINO

+ Guest DJs to be confirmed

Tickets go on sale on November 20th from these ticket outlets:

PIA - http://t.pia.jp/

LAWSON - http://l-tike.com/

Tickets are priced at 7800 yen (inc tax) in advance + 1 Drink Charge to be paid at venue.

You will need to have an ATP website store account to be able to buy. The tickets will be willcall collection and the price you will pay in advance excludes a small drink charge which must be paid at the venue when you arrive.

This will be the ticket link to use for those outside Japan.

Please note tickets are non-refundable in the case of Artist cancellation or changes of line-up.
Age restrictions: Children under 6 will not be admitted.

ATP promoter Barry Hogan: “We feel really excited that we are finally coming to Tokyo to present some of our favourite Japanese and International artists. It’s been something we’ve wanted to do for many years and this first edition of I’ll Be Your Mirror will be a sample of future projects we plan to bring to Japan.”

Following Tokyo, the next I’ll Be Your Mirror will be an artist curated event taking place in the UK in Summer 2011.

Boredoms were incredible. There were six drummers, with Eye in the middle (most of the time). He was 'playing' some kind of synth hooked up to motion sensors. Therefore his body movements played the synth, and also the drummers followed his motions. It was a really cool piece of performance art. There's a 7 minute video on youtube already that's worth watching. Did anyone who attended take any decent pictures and be willing to send them to me?
