INSTAL is our world leading, once a year collection of events that explore un-average ideas about sound and music; unrepeatable, unmissable gigs and performances, in-depth discussions, readings, films, installations…

In our current anti-intellectual climate, we want INSTAL to be different: intelligent without being academic, popular without being populist. INSTAL will present and examine (with you, not at you) challenging and radical music, music that is about more than just music.
