Saturday, July 31st … 5PM … Downtown Benson

Come out and support the Concert for Equality. All proceeds go to the ACLU Nebraska’s effort to repeal Fremont’s Anti-Immigrant Law. We finally have the details for this show worked out. Music is now starting both inside and outside at 5pm. The regular tickets can get you into both places (unless The Waiting Room is over capacity) until 10pm. At 10pm, about the time Desapare…cidos play outside, we will clear out The Waiting Room. After the outside show is done at 11pm, those with the deluxe tickets will be allowed back in to The Waiting Room for more performances. We will post a formal schedule shortly, but here’s a list of everybody playing: Desaparecidos, Cursive, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Bright Eyes, Lullaby For The Working Class, FATHR^, The Envy Corps, David Dondero, The So-So Sailors, Conchance, Simon Joyner, Flowers Forever, and Vago. It’s going to be a great day and thanks to everybody for supporting!!!

best show ever. was it just me or did cursive steal the entire show? i love when tim puts his full heart into a set, even if it takes a large amount of alcohol. totally worth the 34 hours of driving.

That Gillian Welch set went on entirely too long. That ruined what MIGHT have happened with the rest of the bands.

after the lftwc set welch and rawlings played some, then some bright eyes songs were played, then desa played whats new for fall with dondero, then they closed with a seemingly impromptu full band jam of dondero's new song written for this event called "building the new berlin wall"

You are here to participate in an atomic maneuver. This is not a half hazard maneuver. Careful planning for it started months back. Watch from a safe distance, this explosion is one of the most beautiful sights ever seen by man. Coming from Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
