Pleasantville Music Festival @ Parkway Field
Pleasantville, New York, United States
On Saturday July 10, 2010 the PEAK presents the 6th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival bringing together thousands of people to enjoy a day of music, food and fun. More than 18 acts will perform on 3 stages; the gates will open at 12:00 Noon and the music will move you until 8:00 PM. Artists on the main stage this year include Jakob Dylan, The Bacon Brothers (yes, Kevin is one of them) Rusted Root, and Carney.
InTown Magazine has recognized Pleasantville as one of Westchester’s most Family Friendly villages and that spirit is exemplified at the Festival. There is an expansive Fun Area with games, amusements, crafts, and music especially for kids.
Vendors offer fresh food, from pizza to smoked BBQ, Asian delicacies, hot dogs, ice cream, smoothies, coffees, teas and much more. Crafters show their skills and charitable organizations provide information about their causes; Festival-goers (21 and over) can sample our award-winning locally crafted beer from Captain Lawrence and imbibe the fruits of Pleasantville’s Prospero winery in the garden.
WXPK (Radio 107.1 THE PEAK) -- providing world class rock for New York’s backyard -- is once again the festival sponsor. The station’s on-air personalities will keep things lively on the main stage and broadcast from Parkway Field.
