JazzReggae Festival
The critically acclaimed JazzReggae Festival at UCLA is pleased to announce that the headliners for the 2010 festival are Raphael Saadiq, The Foreign Exchange and Q-Tip on May 30th Jam Day, Nas, Damian Marley and Barrington Levy on May 31st Reggae Day.
The combination of such prestigious and internationally renowned musicians at one festival is sure to provide everyone in attendance with an unforgettable experience.

California native Raphael Saadiq, is currently on tour showcasing his Grammy nominated album, The Way I See It. Saadiq has been playing and composing music since the age of six and has extensive experience as a singer, songwriter, musician and producer. The recipient of several Grammy’s, Raphael Saadiq is truly a musical icon. His production resume includes groups such as the Roots, TLC, and Macy Gray. As an artist, Saadiq has constantly shown his passion for all styles of music, from jazz and blues to classical and everything in between. His funky, soul infused style makes Raphael Saadiq the ideal headliner for 2010’s Jam Day.
Nas and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley are coming together to support their upcoming album, Distant Relatives. Nas, who has been active in the Hip Hop world since 1991, has worked with artists such as Jay-Z, Ludacris, Dr. Dre and Young Jeezy. Nas invented a new, more conversational version of rapping, establishing himself as one of the founders of modern hip-hop. Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, the youngest son of Bob Marley, has won multiple Grammy’s for his album Welcome to Jamrock, making him one of the most famous and celebrated reggae artists in the world. The collaboration album, Distant Relatives, has been highly anticipated for over a year, and promises to impress with guest musicians including Stephen Marley, Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne. Reggae Day assures a groundbreaking performance with this revolutionary duo in attendance.
