jonno212 about the ALAN thing.. it could be to do with this... www.wearealan.com This has been happening to festivals all over the country for a while now and we got inspired by it some years ago and set up our own night over it... we did this before the program came about. ALAN is an acronym for Awareness & Love All Nighters. That came to us through positive thought... Our aim is to hold all night quality music events showcasing old/new & Live music and to provide alternative information/theories on the world around us in the hope we can make a positive change in all things such as environment, politics, human and animal welfare… Whilst at the same time promoting unconditional love to your fellow human. Music we cover everything... just look at our about page and see what we manage to jam into our nights! our mottos.. Afterall, its about the journey NOT the destination! "Raving awareness about the current global situation through good vibes, good tunes and great people..."

jonnyarneriise I didn't attend this but from reading the comments it sounds like this is starting to transform into your typical festival.(albeit probably with a better lineup than 90% of whats out there). Could anyone recommend me a good festival with acts like bonobo, K & D, Leggo Beast, The solid Doctor etc etc, many thanks.

paparulitsa thanks ever so much Atitlan-- Tako Lako ruled ending the last night at Global Local stage( or maybe we were in the right mood!). My first festival it was, had a s u p e r b time.. -- now back to depression remembering.. Godspeed! You Black BigChillers....

Atitlan I was less bothered about Lily Allen in the Sunday evening slot than MIA and Plan B being there at all. Still, like you say a poor line-up on the main stages, sends you elsewhere - in my case to see Wax Tailor in Chill-X who proved well worth seeing.

S0PHIE92 I think there were only a few people who shouldn't have played, in my opinion MIA, Lily Allen, Tinie Tempah, Kelis and Plan B shouldn't have been there but if someone else had been on instead of Lily Allen i might have not seen Bonobo and if MIA hadn't been on i might not have seen Mount Kimbie so it worked out quite well in the end.

Was disappointed with Friday's scheduling - Massive Attack, Kruder + Dorfmeister and Belleruche all clashing, i wanted to see Mystery Jets as well it was the worst planning ever.
