*MAIN STAGE*
ACEY SLADE & the DARK PARTY - www.myspace.com/aceyslademusic
New York based musician ACEY SLADE (Murderdolls / Dope / Trashlight Vision) is set to unleash upon the world his new full length solo / band project - THE DARK PARTY. Cleverly bringing together and stretching boundaries between both Rock and Electronic genres, Slade and his new band have produced a collection of songs that are both sonically and emotionally exciting, enabling him to smash open the doors to another blistering musical chapter in his already colourful career.
THE GLITTERATI - www.myspace.com/theglitterati
Kerrang! calls them “a stadium rock band done garage style” NME proclaimed them “brash and brilliant” The Sunday Times said they carry the swagger of Thin Lizzy and the glamour of Ziggy-era Bowie
THE PLEASURES - www.myspace.com/thepleasuresmusic
Ladies, gentlemen, sluts, whores, perverts and deviants … your time has finally arrived … and the soundtrack to this most carnal of times is THE PLEASURES. Hailing from Hamburg, Germany are single-handedly reinventing, redefining and revolutionising everything that you used to understand as “glam rock”. Sure, they take a massive pinch of Bowie, T-Rex and The Sweet, but they also have a disgusting love of all things Toilet Boys, Marilyn Manson, Robin Black & the Intergalactic Rockstars… this is glam rock 21st century style… and we gotta say it sounds like NOTHING we have ever heard before…
EUREKA MACHINES - www.myspace.com/eurekamachines
A collision of riotous rock, punk energy and orchestrated heavy metal guitars welded to solid vocals, a regiment full of harmonies and the pummelling power of bass and guitars with no gimmicks, no intellectual pretension, just straightforward, head for the central nervous system guitar pop
THE EROTICS - www.myspace.com/TheErotics
Like Alice Cooper before he found religion … A fistful of battering hell-rockers that stomp… The Erotics haven’t sounded this evil for nearly a decade… Classic, mean-spirited sleaze-rock
DEAD IDENTITIES - www.myspace.com/deadidentities
Incredibly well put together songs, every nook and cranny has been seen to with rampant youthful lust, the most perfect summer punk anthems that The Wildhearts never recorded, with chorus’ that would make Mick Jones nostalgic for the days when he knocked out tunes with a temerity that seems to have passed to these guys somewhere along the way.
JD & the FDCs - www.myspace.com/jdandthefdcs
Formed when the clock ticked over to 2010 JD and the FDCs are 1 part JD to 3 parts FDC.
*SHAMBLE STAGE*
LORD OF THE LOST - www.myspace.com/lordofthelost
Chris Harms started out as vocalist and guitarist for industrial rock outfit PHILIAE (1999-2004). Since then his musical career has flourished, from stage guitars for BIG BOY (2007) to guitars, vocals and production for the legendary glam rock explosion THE PLEASURES (since 2004). As well as this, he keeps one foot in the gothic scene as the singer of the electro/indsutrial project UNTERART (since 2006). In LORD OF THE LOST he brings to life his own visions. But he is not alone: Together with Sebsta (Guitars), Class (Bass), Any (Drums) and THE PLEASURES band mate Sensai (Guitars), he founded LORD OF THE LOST in 2008, to breathe fresh life into gothic rock.
SWORN TO OATH - http://www.myspace.com/sworntooath
Hailing from the midlands, brought up on a diet of blues, old school rock & metal then later finding a heavier edge to identify with, Sworn To Oath are a tight clenched fist in the face of a mundane, static society
OBSESSIVE:COMPULSIVE - www.myspace.com/obsessivecompulsive
Anger, energy, intensity, belief…these are the essential ingredients in all great rock ‘n’ roll and Manchester’s Obsessive Compulsive have them all in abundance. With their debut full-length album, Dreams Of Death & The Death Of Dreams, this young band are poised to make a huge and lasting impact on the UK rock scene and, if there’s any justice, far beyond.
THE ROCKET DOLLS - www.myspace.com/therocketdollsmusic
Barbed wire chewing, razor blade spitting three-piece post-grunge riff-metal outfit
THE LOST SOULS CLUB - www.myspace.com/thelostsoulsclub
A gathering of deviants, delinquents and deadbeats, The Lost Souls Club is a musical home for the heartbroken and the dreamers. This is the sound of rock n’ roll as it should be; pure fire delivered with the cool, hard stare of a band who know exactly how to seduce you, to soothe you then set your soul alight
