If you go down to the woods today… you are in for a big surprise
Inshriach House, the Ord Ban Restaurant, The Old Bridge Inn and Backwoods Productions are back with another long weekend of fantastic music, fine food and outstanding drink in the gardens and woods of Inshriach House.
The Insider 2009 was put together in 5 weeks and was still nominated for best live event by the ICA (you never know, it might win) and this year we have had time to plan and sprinkle magic and put together a line up that melds together trad folk, new folk and not folk at all, bass, brass, rock, roll and reggae into 4 days of sheer loveliness.
Then there is the festival of Firewood on the Thursday, the riverside campsite, swimming, the mountains and forests, boat trips from the campsite to the pub, fishing, table tennis, welly wanging, woodworking, hunners of yurts, drumming workshops, theatre circus and dance, whisky tastings and, to top it off, fireside jams from some of the finest musicians in Scotland.
Don’t know about you but we are childishly excited.
Have a listen to the Radio player to get the sound of it. Its the best £70 you can spend this summer.
