Vodkalemonkid Best festival I have been to in years. Phoenix, Memory Tapes and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble were my highlights and the copious amounts of PIMMS!

jrisgod I didn't have a problem with any of the sound in any of the tents, although I did generally get nearer the front rather than loitering around the back - much louder than the last time I went in 2008. The main stage was definitely a bit quiet and severely lacking in atmosphere though. Matthew Herbert was easily the best thing there.

Dusty wasn't it! Of the acts I saw Amiina were probably my favourite (they've turned into Mum), though I also thought Atlas Sound, Flower-Corsano duo and Silver Apples were alright. Gold Panda sounded interesting from outside the tent - hadn't really heard him before but will investigate further now. Everything on the main stage suffered from the idiots who babble over the top of the whole gig. Go stand away from the stage if all you want to do is lark about you ADHD twats.

musebloom Bloggers delight was far too small [2]. If I didn't have such bony elbows don't think I'd have been able to get even a glimpse of Gold Panda! Plus yeah thought the sound quality was pretty low compared to other festival events I've been to. Just a case of 'grin and bear' and just dance like mad anyway for me! Enjoyed it.

It was a given that all the best stuff would be on later, still Flower/Corsano Duo, Mount Kimbie, Amiina, Simian Mobile Disco & Tensnake are all before 4pm. Some excellent stuff there.

my ticket never came so i had to send ticketweb an email and they've sorted it all out now. just need to take my bookinf ref and card to the box office on the day.

bustersymes Hmm...at the risk of angering all those who've already paid full whack, there is now a two-for-one ticket deal on orange.co.uk. Looks like they're getting a wee bit desperate! So if anyone just needs a single ticket and is planning to get there early doors tomorrow (11.30/middayish) send me a message on here before 5ish today and you can have half my 2-for-1 for £15.

sink2thebeat_uk I'm looking forward to checking out Caribou, Atlas Sound, Moderat, Hudson Mohawke, Mouse on Mars, Memory Tapes etc. There seems to have been a lot of negative talk about this event but I'm planning on just getting nicely twisted and having a good time. Fair enough about not releasing timings yet but who cares about the website..

Well they took my message off of facebook too - and put this up 'STAGE TIMES INFO - We have some amazing bands on from 12:30 - Is Tropical / Sunday Girl / Erland and the Carnival / Cate Le Bon / FlowerCorsano Duo / Hounds of Hate / Anna Calvi, so get yourself down early and enjoy the first bands and village mentality fete area. Stage times will be displayed on two large hoardings within central parts of the Field Day site, and also will be for sale on a laminate.'

slowthrills yeah, they must know the running order by now, for technical reasons if nothing else. And it has to be the least useful event website I've ever seen, reading the running order is even a challenge in itself.
