Hellish fests since Hammer Open Air. Thanks belongs Kold Reso Kvlt & Triumvirate of Doom! Dead Congregation, Excoriate, Diocletian, Demigod, Hooded Menace, Nirvana 2002 and Necros Christos were amazing. Hooded Menace needs another guitarist to their live solo and acid jam parts.

Excellent festival, with great bands. I enjoyed Witchrist, Excoriate, Grave Miasma, Cruciamentum and Diocletian a lot, great shows! I also liked the venue and audience. Didn't know what to expect, because this was my first festival in Finland, but I think I'll be back next year!

I'm still enjoying my last few days in Helsinki... What a hellish weekend! Witchrist, Sadistic Intent, Stench of Decay, Grave Miasma, Excoriate, Nirvana 2002, Cruciamentum, Diocletian, Dead Congregation and Necros Christos were the best bands for me at BMR. A thought to the girl who was near me at the front row while Necros Christos were playing, who broke several glasses and ended up with bloody arms and hands. She went totally insane.

Diocletian was great! Excoriate, Witchrist, Grave Miasma and Cruciamentum were also very good. Helsinki is a nice city; visited the National Museum and the Ateneum Art Museum, both were very interesting.

Day 3 was strong. Demigod set was simultaneously historic and timeless. Necros Christos was sardonic wrath, pure evil presence and convinced how they can headline a show with Demigod involved.

I feel sad that i missed Stench Of Decay, but being a native offering, i'll get my chance later. Maveth didn't impress all that much, but Grave Miasma was great! No denying there. Mmm, around the next two hours i was feeling a bit "hazy", so no precise memories there but in general i seemed to enjoy Hooded Menace better, whereas Karnarium left me relatively cold. But really, i was sort twirling around here and there for the most part, so that's about those. And then, out of fucking nowhere, came and conquered EXCORIATE! What can i say? I had such superb time with them, one of the best live experiences to this date! I love you deutsch panzer bastards. Nirvana 2002 frapped it all up and they were amazing! Sort of predictable (but not in a bad way) to have an Entombed cover song played, but that if anything was rightfully theirs to deliver. In a nutshell, Thursday amazed the hell out of me, yesterday blew my mind and today... Especially from nine o'clock onwards...

I've had amazing two days already and the main event is just about to begin. Vorum started first and they were easily my biggest dissapointment, but maybe i had way too high expectations to begin with. Young band, playing first and such might've contributed, but still, the sound was some absolute tar (for the most part). I do hope catching them live later on though (and this time better prepared). Neutron Hammer ripped well, Craven Idol satisfied and Witchrist demolished my pants in proper fashion. Very very impressive show! "Surprising" too, considering that i wasn't overly impressed of their 'Best Of' material previously. Sadistic Intent had a bit of a challenge to top that, but as expected, they showed their might. I had some great time checking out the band below from the second floor. Even if for some reason you're not into SI, one cannot deny how entertaining for example Emilio is on the drums. Flesh pounding thundery beast.

Repugnant canceling really bites hard, but what can you do... SHIT! And we're getting ever so close to the actual happening, yet i got a feeling BMR might still whip out some proper aces. Mmm, i'm still rooting for Sear if there's eventually the need for late native replacements. They've been awfully quiet for quite some time though, so i might aswell send them an email now and see what the hell is going on. Bring on the storm.
