Admission for Hopscotch Music Festival is designed to suit a wide range of fans. Individual tickets for the shows in Raleigh City Plaza—on Friday, Sept. 10, featuring Panda Bear, Broken Social Scene and The Rosebuds; on Saturday, Sept. 11, featuring Public Enemy, No Age and The Love Language—cost $30 each. For $45, fans can buy a wristband that allows entry into all nine festival clubs for all three days. A limited number of $85 wristbands gain fans admission to both City Plaza shows and all clubs, saving $20 off of face value. A very limited number of $120 VIP wristbands are available. Those wristbands include skip-the-line access to all shows and a VIP festival kickoff party on Thursday, Sept. 9.

    Does anyone know who the last dj was at the ruby red saturday night? he only played for about 45 minutes and then they kicked everyone out. bummer. (the asian dude... ring any bells?)

    If you saw this asshole (pic illustrates damage from previous comment) walking around, dancing like an idiot somewhere, or sleeping at a venue in the middle of the evening...that's yours truly. I'm sure if anyone here went to Ruby Red's Thursday or Saturday, they would remember me. If you can't tell from the picture I had (too much) fun, barely survived, and will definitely be back next year. Highlights: BSS, Megafaun w/ free nachos and pop-tarts, Ben Frost, sweating at Harvey Milk, Shithorse and Cold Hole at Ruby's on Thursday, Ocean and Locrian at King's, Gray Young playing (at least) three times.
