    Sat 24 Jul – The 1-2-3-4 Shoreditch Festival 2010

This was my first experience of the 1234 Shoreditch Festival, and for a max of £20, I think it was pretty good deal. I see it more or less like the little punk sister to Field Day (which, honestly is getting too big and expensive for its own good). 1234 is a one day festival in London featuring up and coming acts with a perhaps more local slant.

Shoreditch Park is pretty central and I suppose close enough to the main thoroughfare of hipster centraal to suit that demographic. The actual festival ground was pretty small and is less leafy than Victoria Park, I felt the tents were a little too close together, though I didn't find the music at one stage interfering with the music at another like I have at Field Day.

Its out on CD, vinyl (250 only with "vintage inner sleeves" (!) and download dropcards), and cassette (50 only), and you can pre-order at a slightly cheaper price now (with discount if you buy all three formats - watch it doesn't get banned from the charts or owt!) We should have the pre-orders ready to despatch next week sometime. You can hear full length tracks previews from our album page. Great!

SECOND: Potty-mouthed casiotone genius Kunt and the Gang hits Sunderland's Independent on Wednesday June 9th (i. …
