Azfeszt Music Festival is one of the most exciting cultural events of Hungary, expecting its guests in the Spa Bath of Nyírbátor in the middle of august every summer. Now approaching its seventh year, Azfeszt has fast become one of the most popular and talked about festivals on the hungarian summer scene.


Visitors are welcome to hang out non-stop four days long. We provide a wide variety of programs: concerts, performances, theater shows, forums, signig sessions, sport facilities, and at last but definitely not least non-stop access of the thermal bath.

Besides the hungarian mainstream acts past artists include A Wilhelm Scream (USA), Agnostic Front (USA), Anti-Flag (USA), Architects (UK), Centao (A), Darkest Hour (USA), Deadlock (D), Death By Stereo (USA), Enter Shikari (UK), Housebound (F), Jaya The Cat (NL), Raised Fist (SWE), Raunchy (DK), Rentokill (A), Russkaja (A), Skindred (UK), Sonic Syndicate (SWE), Textures (NL), The Blackout Argument (D), The Flatliners (CAN), The Peacocks (CH), The Toasters (USA), Volbeat (DK) and many more. Although the festival is strongly characterized by its ground idea wich was the talent scouting competition so that every year there is a spot for the young talents to introduce themselves for wider audiences and we provide them a lift to jump into the music business.

Nyírbátor, the town hosting Azfeszt Music Festival lies in the Eastern-Hungarian region, 60 km from Debrecen, 260 km from the capitol, 40 km from Nyíregyháza, and many major cities of 3 different countries can be found within 100 kilometres distance from Nyírbátor. Apart from the festival, the historic town center of Nyírbátor guarantees the tourists fadeless memories.

Although at the beginning of the festival in 2004 only 22 bands and 900 guests attended the event, 120 performers and more than 15.000 visitors arrived in 2009.
