Since it’s inception in 2001, FloydFest has grown, exponentially yet sustainably, and in the words of a 2009 Jambase reviewer “manages to pull off a large-tier festival while maintaining a small-fest vibe.” In a year of economic instability, we give a huge thanks to those who, in perhaps paring down their event schedule, chose to spend the late July weekend with us.
FloydFest takes place on an 80 acre venue off the beautiful, historic, and refreshingly non-commercial Blue Ridge Parkway. The BRP celebrates it’s 75th anniversary in 2010-learn more about this national treasure, and perhaps take the scenic route to FloydFest!
