  The Monotonix failure was annoying as hell, but I think people kept their energy from that gig to make the Omar one so special. Atlas Sound tried to drain it with his pseudo-Neil Young set of dullness, but it remained (I'll stop shouting for a while now).

  Omar Souleyman was amazing. We were right up the front so i could hear fuck all until lunch time the next day. He was in front of me on the sunday wearing a yellow shell suit buying a ton of energy drinks and some doritos, some of his majesty was lost during those five mins, have to say.
