Following its most successful year, we are hoping that in years from now, folks will look at the 2010 Soundwave line-up and wonder how so much ROCK from around the world was assembled together in 5 cities across Australia.
For 2010 we are particularly proud to have enticed one of rock’s all time legendary artists, FAITH NO MORE ; and one of today’s most talented and intriguing bands, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE to top the bill. Joining them will be indie legends and festival kings JANES ADDICTION, the kings of dark punk AFI and one of the hottest bands in the world, PARAMORE.
We are also thrilled to be graced by the presence of the newly reformed and legendary SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE and the hotly anticipated return of GET UP KIDS and ALEXISONFIRE.
In true SOUNDWAVE fashion there will be plenty of great new bands to discover as well old and new favourites.

thiscomatherapy shame i got heatstroke but placebo were the best part of the day.

shuffleculture Placebo were all class, JEW were great but a little underwhelming- in retrospect I would have preferred MCR but I still enjoyed the set/day. Shame about Rou/Enter Shikari, they're capable of being a lot better than they were. I really wish Paramore had of been on earlier/later because it was the peak of the days heat when they played and everyone was dead.

earthcrossing I had a blast, even if i WAS hating almost every minute (for leekpie) due to the heat. I almost fainted while waiting in the merch line, I had to lose my spot and go and sit down!! but it was worth it...just!

para_1991 was AMAZING! Anti-Flag was absolutely INCREDIBLE, a wilhelm scream were superb, skanking to the aquabats and reelbig fish was awesome, A Day to remember was pretty good,but you could barely hear the vocal mic, AFI put on a good show, Paramore, Alexisionfire, Jimmy Eat World were extremely dissapointing, Faith No More did well but they just arent my scene, All Time Low and Escape the Fate were Extremely shit, and all you could hear was whiny teenage girls.... but the event was simply incredible in itself, hopefully next year either Pennywise/ Rancid / Pour Habit / Bad Religion / NOFX or Offspring come

Milky-Sheep really good day! Placebo and Jane's Addiction were my highlights.

leekpie It sure did, I fainted, lol. I left after Clutch. Most of the bands afterward were shit.
