I know what you mean, radioyork. I love Beirut dearly and their show was awesome, but I expected more than six pieces. Zach seemed quite tired that night, during the show and after. But nevertheless, they all blew me away. They made six pieces work very well for them. By the way, does anyone know the name of the backup singer/synth/flugal/french horn player?

Vrai que le son The Dodos était pas à son mieux mais j'ai définitivement préféré leur première partie que le show de Beirut dans son ensemble... C'étais bien comme concert mais les tounes étaient vraiment down tempo et sans vie, bref ils avaient pas l'air dedans(excepté à quelques occasions). C'est peut-être que ma perception et je suis pas du type négatif mais bon, non j'ai pas été en état de choc. Pourtant j'aime bien Beirut mais je m'attendais à quelques choses de définitivement plus festif...

Totalement d'accord avec Tricotpitch: vraiment dommage pour The Dodos. Leur concert à la Sala Rosa était mille fois meilleur!! Quelqu'un aurait la setlist de Beirut? Setlist, anyone?

C'était par-fait! Magique quand ils ont joué "my night with the prostitute from marseille", la foule était en état de choc tellement c'était bon! Avez vous remarqué le drummer... il avait l'air content d'être la! hehe Dommage pour The Dodos parcontre... le son était pourri et ca ne leur a pas fait justice car c'est vraiment un bon groupe.

Does anyone know the names of those songs he sang in French? As for the concert, absolutely perfect. The best show I've ever been to. I'm still elated and feel goosebumps whenever I think about that night or hear his music.
