Each to their own I guess. For the record I thought Iroha were amazing.

the singer in the support band had im a pretentious twat written all over his face as he half heartedly tilted his head back so his mouth barely pointed at the microphone. but mono were mind blowing and pant staining the climax to yearning well it made me climax :P

Iroha dissapointed me greatly, the singer (who looked like Nick Robinson and wandered the stage as if he was lost) mumbled his way through the whole set, i couldn't even understand the introductions. Mono however were utterly sumptuous, I just wish I'd been in the front row (I was one behind, next to some Aussie chick who kept touching my arm), Ashes in the Snow, Halcyon and Everlasting Light were the best. I did contemplate trying to get my copy of Hymn signed, but after seeing how dodgy the alley behind Scala was and that I was the only one trying to do this I decided to just go home. Ah well, next time...

I always get the feeling I'm being cheated if I go and see a live band and there is drumming but... no drummer. There was plenty of room on stage for the support guys to employ a sticksman to batter some skins rather than playing a fucking tape. After a fairly slow start to their set Mono tore the place apart. Yearning, Halycon and Everlasting Light were the evenings clear winners. Seen them 4 times now and still not heard them play Com(?) yet. One of these days they will...

the support were a bit dissappointing, were too quiet and a bit dull. Mono though were amazing I didnt think the first 2 songs were great, but after that they just blew me away, they're so good at playing heavy but remaining melodic loved it
