I agree zagoren... I've seen them before with a live drummer which makes the whole experience better, as it's not so contrived and spot-on with the record. And they've dragged out bridges, extended choruses, etc. I have a feeling that bc they were DJing an afterparty later that night, they played a shorter & less energetic set. Also they went on so early and played such a short set! I missed a few songs! Much better time at Webster Hall last year. I mean I had fun, but still. Anybody have a setlist?

I saw them with 2 friends who were absolutely crazy about them and 2 more friends who weren't. i saw them in terminal 5 in nyc. ALL OF US, to the letter, thought the show was awful. Their stage presence was nonexistant. it was like a window into a garageband session. their musicianship was nonexistant. no live drums. when they picked up a guitar they played the most basic chords. their lyrics are sooo bad and juvenile. the lead singer's messainic hand gestures seemed derivative. All in all, they played in the pocket--meaning there were no notes or moments that were unexpected. We feel shammed and cheated. But everyone around us (who was either 20 years old or gay) were loving it.... Definately not a true music concert. But I know we are in the minority for feeling this.

This was a fantastic show, the energy in the venue was insane. Matt & Kim as usual delivered and set the tone for the rest of the evening's craziness

really amazing show.. got a railing spot but the crowd sucked! but still so happy about the show :D

good god that was aweeeeesome! Waiting since 6:30pm for the railing spot was too worth it because that crowd got pretty rowdy half way through!
