I actually liked the opening act, Baby Venom, though it was clear why they were opening. Their drummer was absolutely nuts. Give them a little more time to flesh out their showmanship, and they'll be solid, I think. I'll echo the sentiment on Extra Life, though, they sucked, or rather, their frontman sucked. Deerhunter. I've never felt calmer at a gig than when they started playing Hazel St., quite strange. I loved every second of it though. Basically 1 and a half hours of fantastic distortion and reverb filling the venue. Bradford (lead singer) seems like a really cool guy too with what he said and stuff. Totally worth the £9 ticket price alone.
