The drummer was in Nice n Sleazy afterwards, being swarmed by fans. Great gig. Didn't see The Big Pink though.

Yeah I think it was Let the Devil in... yeah Jaleel's a brilliant drummer, I was staring at him and Dave pretty much the whole gig.

Absolutely mind blowing; in my opinion anyway. Also, james_cfc, was it not Let The Devil In between A Method and Staring? I'm fairly sure they played that at some point, but I'm kinda hazy on the whole night. How good a drummer is Jaleel man! I was fixated the whole night haha.

Besafe, i think i saw you at This Will Destroy You and in regards to people being annoying at gigs, were you not the guy who shouted out, 'could i trouble you to play quiet?' and 'fuckin epic' repeatedly and other such cuntish remarks. Which obviously annoyed the band and pretty much everyone in the crowd. It was incredibly cringeworthy and pretentious. If this was not you, i apologise, the kid was wearing a sonic the hedgehog t-shirt. TV on the Radio i thought were pretty dissapointing though, but if people enjoy it regardless of age, then that is great. Don't piss on other peoples bonfires.

Complaining because Staring at the Sun wasn't like it is on the album is just pathetic. Any real TVotR fan would know that their songs sound vastly different from album to album. Personally I thought they sounded very good, although Golden Age was a bit underwhelming due to the lack of brass. But thats the only thing I can think of that I wasn't impressed with. I also think the sound in the ABC is very good, compared to the likes of the Carling Academy, and most of the people I know agree that the ABC sounds very good.

i was not impressed to be honest , they are not the tightest live set and the way that staring at the sun was played it sounds nothing what its like on the album it was faster and frantic. Also there were so so so so many smelly crusty middle aged mother fuckers all around me head banging so hard that their heads were going to fall off and like it was whilst they were tuning the gtars. And to top it off abc has a shit sound anyway.- Not impressed.

Yes it was. I bagged myself a setlist as well, and I met Jaleel (the drummer) =). Heres the set if anyones interested... Young Liars, The Wrong Way, Golden Age, Wolf Like Me, Dirtywhirl, Stork and Owl, Shout Me Out, Dancing Choose, Red Dress, DLZ, Sattelite. Encore- Love Dog, A Method, Staring at the Sun. I was delighed they done A Method and Staring at the Sun, but I'm gutted there was not Halfway Home... they done another song between Method and Staring, but I can't remember what its called. I know all the songs, just not the names. Awesome gig.
