It is indeed, and the correct spelling is Guinevere fyi. Ben definitely is looking a lot cooler these days. Last time I saw them he had glasses and was carrying a fair amount of weight! Frightened Rabbit were superb and the whole of DCfC's encore was awesome.

Is We Laugh Indoors the I loved you Gwenyvere [excuse my spelling..] song? I don't know all the songs yet but I really liked that one. I Will Follow You Into The Dark was beautiful, and I loved The New Year and Title And Registration in the encore... but there was no Summer Skin :( Frightened Rabbit totally surprised me, I didn't think they'd be good but they were plus they were from the next town from me and I'd never heard of them! Plus Ben's appearance is so different from any photo I've ever seen, that surprised me too..

2 gigs on the trot at the corn exchange, completely different styles of music and both sounded really bad. frightened rabbit were superb, a pleasure every time.on their way to something big methinks. death cab were good, but were far superior on their last tour at the barra's with the 10 minute jam version of 'we look like giants' where ben was playing along on a mini drumkit. it did make me enjoy the songs from narrow stairs a lot more though.

the last FR song - keep yourself warm. the last Death cab song - transatlanticism. that was TOOO good an ending on both counts.

Frightened Rabbit were impressive. Death Cab seemed a bit boring though. And the Corn Exchange sucks. But still, it wasn't terrible, so...

@ Charlotteeeeee - I was at their gig the night before at the Ambassador in Dublin (which is a far superior venue) and they played Brothers On A Hotel Bed during their encore. Was a present surprise to see they mixed thing up a little though! Was also my first time at the Corn Exchange and I must agree, it's easily the worst venue I have been to!

I actually agree with everything Charlotteeeeee said. Corn Exchange has got to be way down there with the worst venues in Scotland.

I thought it was going to be alot better. But it was still good. :) First time i'd been to corn exchange, i never liked it. It would've been so much better at the Barrowlands to be honest. And i was gutted there was no Brothers On A Hotel Bed.

Frightened Rabbit's set was: I Feel Better, Fast Blood, Old Old Fashioned, Good Arms vs Bad Arms, The Modern Leper, Square 9 and Keep Yourself Warm. For me (who was going to see them over Death Cab) they did brilliant in a such big venue. Their music is much more suited to smaller venues but they were great last night. And I liked Death Cab but (don't kill me) they didn't blow me away. The Sound of Settling was awesome though.

Frightened Rabbit were brilliant for a support band - wild on stage - imagine a cross between Kings of Leon and Counting Crows, with a lot of Scottish angst mixed in....

This was a really good gig! I didn't like the venue, drink prices or crowd so much, but dc were hard to fault. Did anyone catch Frightened Rabbit? How were they?

I love how thefinaldavid talks about SAA but all his top played tracks of death cab are from Narrow stairs or Transatlantisism.

Why would you assume that everyone going to this gig hadn't heard SAA? I hope all the "moshers" prove you wrong you silly little elitist. What an out-dated term anyway.
