Coldplay are one of the UKs most successful bands, having sold over 20 million albums. Their eagerly awaited album Viva La Vida produced by Brian Eno, is due for release on 12th June, and features the current top 10 single Violet Hill.
Other memorable singles by the band include Yellow, Speed Of Sound, and the Grammy Award Winning Clocks
The band formed in 1997, Chris Martin (lead vocalist/pianist/guitarist), Jonny Buckland (lead guitarist), Guy Berryman (bassist), and Will Champion (drummer), and achieved worldwide fame with the release of Yellow, followed by the success of their debut album Parachutes 92000)
Other albums which followed were A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002, including singles My Place, Clocks and The Scientist), X and Y (2005, featuring singles Fix You and Talk)
The Belfast concert on 18th December is now the following week, on 23rd December (as confirmed by the Odyssey Arena website).
