Anathema, My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost playing together under the same roof... I am quiet sure I am not the only one who was extremely excited to see such gig, as a matter of fact I had been looking forward for such concert for many, many years, and now that it happened I can feel nothing less than satisfaction.
Nevertheless the night was also some sort of revelation... Anathema, MDB and PL; the three of them are veterans in the world of metal, with more than 15 years delighting metal fans around the world with their music. They have a common past as forerunners of the style that after them would be known as doom/death metal. But the true is that the only one of them that continues in that path is My Dying Bride; the concert was called "The Unholy Trinity Tour", but from that trinity the only one that remains truly unholy is MDB; on the other hand PL, and especially Anathema have changed too much from their beginnings... …
