Ólafur Arnalds
Creating something beautifully evocative yet mournfully melancholic, Ólafur’s music is both joyful and haunting, uplifting and intense. Piano melodies run through soaring strings whilst subtle hints of glitchy electronica skip through the ether.
His is music for the head, heart and soul.
worriedaboutsatan
Electronic music without the cold, sterile aesthetics, but with the fragility and euphoria that comes with a warm and more than human heart. Taking the jittering Autechre blueprint and melding it with Explosions in the Sky’s guitar ambience, fans of minimal, glitch and post rock will not be disappointed.
Ultre
A one-man explosion of relentless, spasmodic beats, huge, rumbling bass and searing synthesized sound, Ultre combines the delicately intricate nature of electronic music with a bold, other worldly passion and furious intensity.
Also DJing on the night will be Traffic Magazine’s Richard Silk, playing all things beautiful and experimental.
