pellitero Beckonceagain, clap, clap, clap ... Heaven door staff were behaving very disrespectfully, specially that little teenager pumped on steroids incapable of having a dialog without any symptoms of rage and getting a red face like a monkey´s ar*e. The bar staff, again in their teens, were as fast as a tortoise on K. The atmosphere was as rancid as the smell of the venue and for the charge of one pound to go outside and smoke, i´m still finding out if it´s legal. That venue has gone down the pits since Virgin got rid of it and 90% of the staff need to be fired on the spot. No wonder the show was a shadow of the atmosphere, good vibes and sound of the Soho Revue Bar previous nights. Stay away from that hell hole next time ;-)

salam_baghdad yes the sound was very bad... But somehow the last song they played, Hercules Theme, did sound as exciting as the rest of the gig should have. Ah, well. Not going for a gig to Heaven again tho.

Beckonceagain I think the sound was fucked and that threw them off for a moment but i don't think they were awful at all. It was much much better at Soho Revue though. Probably because it was more intimate and relaxed and the crowd had room to dance and get into it. The sound was good too. I think people were in an agro mood at Heaven or something, probably because they had shit getting in, it took ages to get a drink before the band and you had to pay a quid to go outside and smoke. The door security were being pretty hardcore. They confiscated a packet of unopened hula hoops i had in my bag and then had a go at me for laughing! um, funtimes?

ravin_robin i thought it was a good gig, apart from a few genuinely awful bum notes from nomi. i didn't care that antony wasn't there, to be honest...
