I loved it and me and my mates kept going 'fuck the bnp!' for like 2 weeks afterwards as a joke but i generally don't like 'em tbh. i loved Patrick Wolf, Akala, The View and the dance tentt! sick day :)

Most of the people there were stupid and apolitical, I was leafleting, and they'd be shouting 'FUCK THE BNP! and then I'd give them a leaflet about activism that's going on against the BNP and they'd throw it on the floor, this happened lots. Also, all you people who are complaining about violence by security, you obviously don't go to punk gigs. We have the police beating us up, though...

Good bad and the queen set blew me away. cool to see Jimmy from Sham69 there too. Great gig...and it was free. Admittedly though...all the love music - hate racism shouting got a wee bit tiring at the end but other than that - awesome gig for free!

Badly organised. And you can hate the bnp, but the bloke who was saying they should be banned is an idiot.

superdoggy: That is terrible, unfortunately I didn't witness the incident. I hope everything is okay, and hopefully with the large amount of people there, someone should have witnessed it. Anyone?

Hi... i am in my 40's and got attacked in the dance tent at Victoria park around 1630 and lost consciousness. Did anyone witness it? I know 1 or 2 women helped me up and out but I suffered a concussion and wasn't able to thank them properly. I am having trouble walking today with a bad back etc. and wondered if anyone might be able to tell me wahat exactly happened to me. Thanks.

My GOD, Patrick Wolf's set was amazing! More than worth my two broken toes :D I agree that the whole thing could have been better organised, especially with the times of bands and things - almost missed a few that I wanted to see. But overall I thought it was genius, great atmosphere for the most part, and all for a good cause, right?

Yes, poor organization indeed. They had to make a schedule of bands before hand anyway, right? So please also stick the times on the program so people know when to go see what. They will enjoy themselves better and eventually donate more money; it's a win win situation really. Other possible names for the festival: Love Hate, Hate Racism and Love Politics, Be Impartial towards Music, Hate Racis

Was very poorly organised, and some people I had no idea who they were and they sucked ass like the rapping dude. Also, why were people beaten up for like NO reason? Love Violence Hate Racism?

I basically got beaten up by security for dancing during the Paddingtons and the police said they couldn't do anything about it. Made the day much worse.

I absolutely agree with mxcl and tevesy! It's not like Labour were saints, is it? :P Well, I would rather forget about the politics.

The BNP are a political party who have a right to stand and if you don't like their policies oh well don't vote for them. If there's a fuck the BNP day why isn't fuck Labour day or whatever? These people reaaaaaly didn't understand the idea of a democracy.

wheeeeeey Paddingtons pit :D those security have clearly never ever seen a gig before. One of my friends cos put in a headlock and thrown on the ground for dancing. And I agree with mxcl saying fuck the BNP every 2 minutes doesn't make you a good person. Damon Albarn was clearly getting very annoyed by it.
