Ghostland Observatory was hands down the best show. UFO show was amazing as well... but I really gotta give it up for Battles.. they just kicked total ass. I wish I had seen Lidell I caught the end of it and it was friggin amazing! Big ups to ROGUE WAVE Too, fucking rocked it even with the amp going out.

The Jicks, The Hives, The Breeders, and the Flaming Lips were amazing. I had tears during the Jicks' set, four years of wanting to see Janet Weiss drum live and finally seeing it will do that to you. I found the Mars Volta overrated[I could not understand a single word, and could barely hear anything other than noise-however I have never actually listened to their recordings], but the drummer kicked ass majorly. And Rodrigo Y Gabriela blew everyone's minds. Also, no love to the Kooks. What was up with their set starting an hour late? There were more crowdsurfers at that show than at the Hives and the Flaming Lips combined. tybeeswa, I have no idea what the random cheering was about. Hilariously, the people camped beside me were complaining about the lack of people wanting to party. That was just....nuts.
