Herpes simplex is a viral skin infection which is caused by a group of herpes simplex virus . Herpes simplex is a highly contagious disease which usually causes painful blister, cold sore and watery lesion around the infected area. There are two types of herpes: Herpes simplex virus 1 and herpes simplex virus 2. HSV 1 usually causes oral form of herpes whereas HSV 2 causes genital form of herpes disease. Both types of herpes are highly contagious. You can even catch this virus from an asymptomatic herpes patient. There are many patient surviving with herpes don’t know that they have herpes due to very mild symptoms of herpes.
There are many causes that may lead to spread herpes virus. One of the most common way of spreading herpes virus is having sexual activities with a herpes partner. 1. We should avoid to touch infected areas or mucous membrane
2. Follow a healthy diet.
3. Do not use infected razors, utensils or towels.
4. Avoid to have oral type of sex
