Incidentally, one of the DJs played a ersion of what sounds like the KLF's 'What TIme is Love?'... anyone know what it was? Cheers.

there were loads of people dancing at the back, but really, to get in and experience it you need to be one of the lucky, or pushy, few.

DD was pretty wonderful but I'd rather not have had to sit through the first two bands (might've been 2nd and 3rd band, as I 'only' saw 4) at least. Nice venue though, and what was left of the crowd seemed well up for it. Good laugh.

yeah it went fine for me -- and you don't need to 'see' dan deacon, you're meant to get fucking in there and experience it + not stand back going 'yeah, ooh'. why go if you don't want to dance?

...put people off going to these shows then all we can hope for is some kind of perpetual NME tour, but hey, at least it'll be well organised. One last point is that I'm sure I read beforehand that it was supposed to go on until 2am, it was billed as a party and starting at 8pm with 5 acts therefore is not stupid as the above review suggests but rather, how it was supposed to be. FUN.

...meaning that the whole night had a fun party atmosphere. I hate the thought that someone might be put off going to an Upset The Rhythm show because of petty unfair reviews like the one above. I've been to lots of their shows because they seem to be the people going to the trouble of putting on decent bands in London, if negligible gripes like the ones outlined by 'seewhatyouhear'...
